Canada’s housing and homelessness crisis continues to worsen. But soon, the federal government will lay out its priorities for the next chapter in their first annual budget—and we have the opportunity to make sure they’re focused on what really matters. 

During the federal election, they laid out some big plans to fix the housing crisis, like Build Canada Homes, but now it is time for them to deliver. That's why we're looking for action on five priorities that will make a meaningful difference in addressing our homelessness and housing crisis - from building deeply affordable and supportive housing to supporting communities to resolve unsheltered homelessness.  

When we come together, we are stronger. This is the new government’s first opportunity to show us they are living up to their election promises, and the risks of failing to meet voters’ expectations are high. If enough of us send them a message at this critical time, demanding that they prioritize our neighbours who need it most, they will be forced to listen.
