No one should wonder where they’ll sleep tonight – yet that’s the harsh reality for tens of thousands of Canadians right now. Next week, the federal government will present their first Budget, laying out their priorities for Canada’s next chapter—and we have the opportunity to make sure they’re focused on what really matters. 

The recent Build Canada Homes announcement is a start, but we can’t lose sight of our goal: a Canada where everyone has a safe place to call home. We need the government to take the next step and deliver meaningful change - from building deeply affordable and supportive housing to supporting communities to resolve unsheltered homelessness.  

When we come together, we are stronger. We don’t have much time left to make our voices heard. If enough of us send them a message – just days before the budget – we’ll keep this issue top of mind for them as the final boxes are being checked.  

With just a week left before Budget 2025, will you send a letter to your local MP and our federal leaders and tell them to take bold action to end homelessness?
