Send a message: Canadians Support Expanded Housing Benefit

69.5% of Canadians support the federal government implementing the proposed Homelessness Prevention and Housing Benefit that would support 435,000 Canadians experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Almost 1 in 4 Canadians are concerned about paying their housing costs next month. 74% of people believe that homelessness is increasing in their community. 55% of people believe it’s important for the government to increase funding to end homelessness.

Those are the top lines from recent polling conducted by Nanos Research. And the federal government needs to hear it loud and clear.

Will you send an email to your local MP, Prime Minister Trudeau, Minister Freeland and Minister Hussen asking that they prioritize this new benefit in the upcoming federal budget?
